Building Our Community One Book At A Time...
Not Just A Bookstore opened its doors on December 1, 2007. It started as a vision of Connie Cheek's, when God spoke to her early one morning. The vision was simple: "Empowerment Through Books."
Connie always felt that books empower people through knowlege, which leads to healing.
After sharing her experience with her husband, Richard Cheek, he too, came to share the vision.
Connie and Richard envision the bookstore as a home for authors to do their book signings as well as for customers to gain knowledge and empower their minds, body and spiritual souls through reading.
